One of the successful online payment methods today is ecoPayz. They have been providing safe and fast money moving options for more than a decade. Let’s look at their history. EcoCard dates back to 2000 when it was formed as part of PSI-Pay Ltd. which means it was one of the first e-wallets established. It was regulated under the UK FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) as an Authorized Electronic Money Institution (FRN: 900011) and passported throughout the EU in 2008. EcoCard is a Principal Member of MasterCard licensed to issue branded and unbranded payment cards. EcoCard is Payment Card Industry compliant, a Member of the Electronic Money Association, Data Security Standards compliant and registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) under the Data Protection Act 1998. In 2009, ecoPayz launched their iPhone app and since that time they have upgraded the app four times. The company became a principal member of MasterCard for the purposes of card issuing in 2009. In 2010 ecoPayz introduced 24/7 multilingual Customer Support to customers and businesses worldwide. The ecoPayz Business Account solution was launched in 2011 as a way to provide an instant and cost effective means of paying salaries and expenses to staff, affiliates and individuals. In 2013 ecoPayz underwent a rebrand as they changed from ecoCard to ecoPayz. The new brand included ecoAccount, ecoCard, eco Virtualcard, eocPayz Business Account and ecoPayz Merchant account. A mobile version of the site was launched that same year. In 2014 ecoPayz announced a new feature that allows customers to get their ecoCard PIN from the secure site.
